The wave is too big to ignore anymore.
It seems that more and more countries are revising their stance on cryptocurrencies in general.
The adoption rate is significant enough NOT to ignore the potential for tax revenues from the sector.
That was bound to happen sooner or later.
I guess the good thing is that it's happening, as opposed to some earlier manifestations that tried to stifle innovation or stomp its growth trying to stop what shouldn't be stopped.
The cat is now out of the bag.
If it moves money, they might as well try to take a piece of it.
