Ethereum definitely has a considerable head start over the competition and a devoted, loyal grass root community, if dapps ever succeed as a concept I think Ethereum will become the Microsoft of dapp

While the project might be live and well I don't see a strong case for holding the tokens or a way for them to accrue value, in fact like most ICO app tokens, they're probably just a glorified fund raising
