Excellent list! Funny, but while I tend to complain about the winters here in New England, I can't imagine every living someplace that doesn't have four seasons.
My interest in bird watching actually started in the winter - putting food & treats out for my feathered friends began as a whim, but the more I did it, the more fascinated I became with the visitors to my Avian Eatery (which sounds so much nicer than, "couple of feeders and some old stumps with seed scattered across" 😂).
The only addition I can think of to your list is, Snow Days - as in, when the weather is so bad, schools & businesses close, and you have no choice but to stay home, snuggled up on the couch, with no worries of someone dropping by while you're still in your pajamas.
Sending warm summer thoughts to you from my little corner of the world! ☀️
