Weekends should be fun and relaxing.

Being a corporate slave during weekdays I always eye to have and experience a slow-paced weekend wherein I will not be worrying about stuff. But this is not the case this weekend.
Saturday evening, after getting some decent sleep I did an interview with @jude.villarta for the upcoming project that I have in mind a Filipino podcast showcasing the life of content creators in the blockchain and even outside Hive probably in the future.
While waiting for her, I updated the spreadsheet for the accounting report of @hiveph which is due every month-end. Ideally, it should be updated on a daily basis but knowing myself as one who mastered procrastination I just update everything every end of the month. Nothing wrong with that, but it isn't a good story if month-end will fall on weekends.
Now, do you see where we are heading?
We are able to finish the recording at around 11:00 PM I guess and then I updated some of the data in the spreadsheets.
Editing and cutting some unnecessary words were hard! I enjoyed the banters and trade of words that we had in the conversation and to be honest I was able to minimize myself giving my insights to other stuff that Jude is saying in the interview. It is an interview wherein I should be saying very few lines so that I can highlight the guest and knowing myself to be talkative I patted myself after the conversation.
For the auditing side, who's checking the report anyway? Except for Adam and the staff members I think very few are checking it and close to 10 folks I guess.
But I love what I am doing, though the audience is minimal it gauges us in a way to see where we are at as a community. I am the one who oversees how much we spend and how much can we spend on the project to have an idea if we are doing well or not. I will always rant about it but then again if you are passionate about what you do you will still do it regardless.
What's the plan then?
Going forward I should be working on managing my schedule as there are things that can be avoided. Recording-wise, if I will need to make it as regular stuff I need to bank on checking the calendar with my guest and the convenient time for everyone.
For the auditing, since the data is usually available daily, better collate everything on a daily basis in that way if data will be needed it can be presented anytime. Waiting for month-end always creates a problem, especially on my side as the work that I am doing outside Hive has the same deadline during month-end.
So that's all for me today, it is somehow kinda rant as I wasn't able to go outside and do some stuff but the weather's not nice here we have a storm so even if I want to go elsewhere I cannot.
As I write this piece it is now Monday morning am I ready for the work tonight? Not 100% sure hope I can pull this through. So help me God.
