Of all the things in my life, you were my favourite. When my whole life was full of chaos and war with myself, you held me tight and no one else. You made me believe in things I had never considered before. You forced me to do something I used to be afraid of. I was scared to get out of the superstitions of my society, but you encouraged me to live for myself and think only of myself. You made me believe that being selfish is a blessing sometimes. At first, I didn't know it, but when life gave me a lemon that I didn't want, I realized that thinking about myself was everything.
I should call you a blessing that helps me to learn. You were never the person to think about the big picture. But you were always worried about the things I thought were trivial. I thought my life was unfair, but you, the one who had nothing but the end of sorrow and grief, even though it's just the opposite, just the way we were, we don't like the same thing. We've all always fought for different things. I don't know if it's lucky or unlucky, but we were like that.
Antagonistic to each other. I once called you the moon and myself a star. But you got angry. You said I couldn't be the moon, and you can't be the star because we don't belong to the same world. I was hurt that day; you knew it too but kept quiet. I knew it was hard for you too. And that's how you let me sleep with you. Over time, I realized precisely what you meant. We were actually in two different worlds; let's see if we were the opposite. You were the kid that everyone loved. Everyone wanted to hang out with you and play with. I wouldn't say I liked it; I don't know if you did. You always had that shameless smile that I loved.
You were smiling at everything. From being the centre of a crowd or walking down a secluded street. Innocent, loving and adventurous. To me, you were everything I never had. I was always in the shadows and never came out in the light. We went to the same place and connected with the same people, but they knew you and not me. They always ask who I am whenever I go to you, and you always give the same answer. Only someone you know knew me. I believed that you cared for me as much as I cared for you. That's why I let you into my world. My world from which I have kept everyone away. I allow you to enter the world where I was insecure.
