She gave him the rose and the t-shirt and said I bought them for you. Shawn got off the train and told Kalpana; I have something important to say to you.
I have changed a lot because everyone should fear Allah and live accordingly. This is the path I have chosen. And my request to you is that you follow me, and then I will keep this relationship with you. Otherwise, I don't want to be about this haram.
Kalpana: You know I don't do things that people call rude. I move around with enough decency. But I want to be with you because I love you. Again, I don't want you to force me on this subject because if I want it from the heart, it will change automatically.

I forgot to mention, Shawn is now more honest/believer than before. He does not want to be about any haram. What he used to want to see in Kalpana, he is no longer interested in. Now he doesn't wish Kalpana to do the job. He wants Kalpana to be as honest/believer as he is.
But Kalpana is an educated girl who does not want her partner to force her to do anything. Whatever it is. She refuses to listen to Shawn, and their 6-year-old breaks down in about 4 minutes.
