Jackfruit or Latin name Artocarpus heterophyllus, is a tropical fruit with the largest fruit trees in the world.
The acehnese people call it “Boh Panah”. Jackfruit can be fed directly if it is ripe. but in aceh young jackfruit is more popular because it is cooked as a vegetable sauce and curry sauce to be mixed with meat.
Jackfruit contains the hundreds of small yellow lobes that contain lots of vitamin C. The seeds also contain protein, potassium, calcium and iron needed in the process of growing the body.
