The Old Mine.

I want to start this post by thanking Hive account@gamingphoto for delegating me the resource credits I'd need to publish and engage around as a newbie. Also thanks to the commenters who commented on my first post. Now I'm going to talk about a part of my journey in Mafia: The Old Country and in this post, I'll cover a part where my protagonist alnog with a friend searched a mine for some cash and then came out into the light.

In the same way, highlighting a chapter in any Mafia game, as I noticed it in the first mafia game, this is the first chapter named Tremor and it was in Sicilia at 1904, where Gaetano and Enzo were down in the mine for too long, so they feared it would be noticed that they were gone.

While I was following Gaetano as Enzo carrying a lamp, I used the photo mode and tried some of the effects. I also looked for some logos, but didn't find them, scrolling through the camera settings while the two characters just paused and waited for me to let go of them.

It looked like they found what they were looking for, and it was some hidden cash buried there for so long. They also fond a toy inside with "Enzo" written on it that Enzo recognized but left it behind.

Now that they got the cash, they decided to get back out of the surface above, and Enzo mentioned on their way that his father left that box here with him, and he had it since he was brought here. Which means he was abandoned from his family since he was a kid.

I was taught the basic movement tutorial on our way and we at last reached more people, where a miner mentioned someone named Merlo was around, warning us to keep our heads down as the sounds of shouting echoed from the next cavern.

And there's Merlo, who was like a little boss there, who was torturing the poor workers as they were injured or weak, cracking his whip and shouting insults at the exhausted crew.

As one of the miners was sick, Merlo was pressuring him to keep on working. So Enzo volunteered to do that part, stepping forward into the firelight to shield the sick man from further harm.

Merlo didn't find it amusing as he was happy torturing the miner. So he messed up with Enzo as well while Enzo carried the rock on his shoulder, and I had to walk Enzo out of the mine.

After getting out of the mine and seeing daylight, we found ourselves around a source of gold, I guess. I had to put that bucket down there where all the miners were putting their buckets down as well.

Then it seemed like it was a break time for them, so I started following Gaetano. It seemed like we got to grab our meal, and on our way, I noticed there were more miners gossiping and smoking and doing other stuffs.

While walking ahead, I noticed the smoke from a volcano ahead. It didn't look good, and the miners are also talking about stopping all work, close the mine, or there could be more tremors any moment.
