some people believe that those people that choose not to work their ass off have some sort of a problem rather than they have made a life choice to give time to other things like family or finding balance. they believe that business should have power over people because economics is more important than logic, that the rich people deserve to have the majority of the wealth. hard work does not make greed a better trait.

the people that tell you to suck it up don't have the experience of an accident or illness that leaves you compromised. in my mind, these people lack perspective enough to feel empathy. or maybe they just have so much fear of being poor that they act like dicks.

feeling empathy does not mean being a fool with money however. for as many greedy people as there are, there are also those that take advantage. finding your own balance is always the best way to go forward.
