From time to time I come across photos from my past life. If earlier the line that separated my past from my present was my divorce, then - the kivid epidemic, now it has become a war. And this division has become the most significant.

It is significant because no other event in my life has brought so many losses. I lost people close to me and my favourite animals. Now it continues and I never know what will happen next.

Now I realise how trouble-free our pre-war life was. Of course we had difficulties, but that's not the point. The level of difficulty is determined by how much you can control the situation. And here's what I'll tell you. It is impossible to control anything during the war. This can be compared to a natural disaster when chaos reigns.

But let's get back to the memories. In these photos you see one of my favourite birds - a stork named Beak. I grew it from a small chick. It fell out of the nest and damaged the wing, so it could never fly.

Nevertheless, he led an active life and even appeared on television. Here you can see footage from the program about the problem of infertility. Of course, it was the stork that should have become a symbol of this program!

Beak did a great job. He behaved perfectly in the frame, actively communicated with the participants of the program. He was really very socialised and loved communication.

Unfortunately, Beak died during the occupation of our region by russian orcs in March 2022.
