I've been wondering whether I'm actually taking Mariano for walks, or if he's the one taking me for walks. At this point, our system is pretty simple: he decides where we go.

Last night, I really didn't want to head down to the seafront because I was exhausted. I haven't been sleeping well the past couple of nights, and going to the promenade means walking all the stairs down and then climbing all the way back up.

Of course, that's exactly where Mariano wanted to go.

In the end, it turned out to be a blessing. The full moon was absolutely beautiful, casting its reflection across the water and creating that magical illusion of a glowing bridge stretching over the sea.

I can't help but laugh at the way our walks work these days. Mariano is clearly the boss, and my job is simply to follow along and make sure he doesn't get himself into trouble.

Here are a few photos from yesterday.
