Despite the terrible events of recent days, life goes on. And that's okay, life has to go on, because to stop means to lose. The moment you refuse to move on because of fear, fatigue, frustration, you will lose.
And here we are waiting for this tiny fluffy guy. Now he is in the city of Dnipro. But after lunch they will be put on a train and will go towards Kyiv, where he will be met by my friend, and tomorrow she will bring him to me.
This is such a complex combination. Because of the war, the simplest things turn into a real quest. I can't go and meet Romeo at the station myself, because I won't be able to get home before curfew starts.
Well, never mind, we'll manage. So far, I'm doing a pleasant preparation of a place for the baby. I hope he enjoys being with us and enjoys making friends with my other rabbits.
Now it's Bun, Chokki, Hippie, Lamb and Edelweiss.
Bun is a young female bunny, she is about three years old. She has a wonderful personality, very kind and cheerful. Her main attraction is her ears. One of them sticks up, and the second is bent. And it's always like that. This makes her look very funny.
Chokki is another young female bunny. She has a calmer personality than Bun. I would say that she is more serious and independent. She does not like hugs too much, but at the same time she really needs communication. I would say that her motto is: "Be there, but don't bother me!"

Hippie is the oldest bunny in our house. He has been living with us for about six years now and he was our first rabbit. Hippie came to us because his owners abandoned him. But fortunately he endured the change of residence quite easily. Hippie is not too tame. I would even say that it is not tame at all. Our communication with him is limited to everyday moments when I clean the cage and feed him, and he is trying to understand why I took his poop again.
Lamb came to us from a pet store but we didn't buy him. It's just that the owner of the pet store is already desperate to sell him. The unfortunate bunny spent long days in a cramped cage, and every day the chances that someone would buy him became less and less. That day we came for food for our dogs. In this shop they know us well and they know our shelter. That's probably why they came up with the idea to give Lamb to us.
Edelweiss was found in the park. It is possible, of course, that he ran away, but the search for his owners turned up nothing. He had no chance to survive on his own, so it was decided to take him. Edelweiss is a rather large rabbit, the largest of all my rabbits. Like Hippie, he is not tame at all.
