Hi my dear friends!
Life continues to generously give me surprises! Despite the fact that I announced that our small shelter was closed to receive new animals and birds until the end of the war, the animals and birds did not read my announcement. They keep getting into trouble and needing help.
But what I did not expect is that the peacock will need help. This guy seems to have lost his owners. Although I do not rule out the possibility that they simply left for an evacuation, leaving the bird to survive on its own. I do not presume to judge someone's actions and draw conclusions. So when my friend called and asked if I could adopt a peacock, I agreed.
So on Saturday I have to travel 160 km to pick up the bird. I suggested to those who found the bird that each of us travel half this way, but they refused. They said that they don't know how to put a bird in a car... To be honest, this is some kind of fucking argument for me. The peacock is not a pterodactel, it is an ordinary chicken, although very beautiful. OK, everyone does as they see fit.
The only thing that worries me in this situation is the issue of buying fuel. It is simply not available at gas stations... The crisis continues. But I hope that before Saturday, my friends and I will figure out some way out. So cross your fingers for us.
