Hi, my dear Hive gardeners!
Today is just a wonderful day and I dedicated it to taking care of my flower garden. To tell you the truth, I really need some relaxation and distraction to something positive. The war again came very close to my family. One of my close friends recently joined our army and this added to our worries. In addition, constant talk of a counteroffensive being prepared. No, I definitely need a break for at least a couple of hours.
My garden has definitely made me happy. It snowed a week ago, I was sure that my fritillaries were ruined. Imagine my surprise when I saw that their stems straightened and the buds opened! It was a real miracle!
My hellebore is great this spring too. It is already quite an adult plant, it is over four years old and is at the peak of its flowering. The young specimens I planted last spring barely leafed out, but they successfully survived the winter and that's good enough. I hope next year I will see them bloom too.
My geacinths are blooming too. The scent is simply divine! But there is one problem... It looks like the seagull Asya, who is walking in the garden, decided not to change her route and walked right through the delicate flowers.... such an oops...
Peony shoots are actively appearing. I was especially pleased that of the two tree-like peonies that I planted last year, one plant definitely took root. As for the second, I still do not lose hope. Although the trunk itself is dead, there is a chance that the roots are alive. I think that within a month I will understand if this is so.
My magnolia is getting ready to bloom too. This plant is truly a monument to my patience! For five years I patiently grew it from a thin, helpless twig. And now it will be the second year since it pleases me with flowers.
While my perennials live their own independent lives, I continue to deal with annuals. As usual, I bought just a huge amount of seeds and now I'm desperately trying to grow it all. My eternal problem! I am completely out of control when it comes to buying seeds....
By the way, my collection of indoor flowers was replenished this year with indoor banana. In addition, I am trying to grow a plant from an avocado seed. There was already a root there, but the dogs dropped the pot... I hope the root is not hurt...
