That's the end of another week of July. Today, according to tradition, I want to look back to realise for myself what it was like.
01. New life
The most significant event of this week was the birth of puppies in my friend's dog. It's a wire-haired dachshund. We have been closely monitoring her condition in order to seek the help of the veterinarian at any time. But fortunately it wasn't necessary and soon six adorable puppies were born.
02. Algae attack
The heat had a negative impact on the microclimate in my artificial pond. The algae literally attacked it. Maybe I wouldn't have paid attention to it, but it created problems for my fish. And it was because of the fish that I didn't want to use chemistry. Fortunately, the installation of a special aerator helped to correct the situation for the better.
03. Garden works and tailed helpers
I haven't done much gardening this week. I can't stand the heat well. However, in the evening I tried to allocate at least an hour to take care of the plants. Of course, my dogs took the most active part in this. Sometimes it seems to me that they just don't trust me too much and think I can't do it without their control.
04. Benefits of hot weather
Everything has two sides. On the one hand, the heat made my life difficult. But on the other hand, it made it possible to take good care of the chairs and mattresses on which dogs sleep. I washed them well with a pressure washer and they dried perfectly in the hot sun.
05. My favourite lily
The blooming of lilies in my garden continues. However, this week there was a real event - my favourite lily bloomed. It has an unusual shape and I really like it. This year I'm going to transplant it to another place because it's been growing here for several years and it's time to make changes.
06. The first raspberry
Finally, the first raspberries began to ripen. I have very few of them, but I'm still glad that it's a harvest of my garden.
07. A small failure
This week I also practised dog grooming. Michelle usually looks very good with a haircut. But this time she behaved very restlessly and was spinning all the time. In the end, I cut her very carelessly. Fortunately, she doesn't look in the mirror... I'll fix it later when her hair grows a little.
08. New construction tool
This week I bought a construction hair dryer. It turned out to be a very handy tool. I'm still studying the functions of it, but I've already successfully removed the scotch tape and the old paint. I think it will become one of my favourite instruments.
9.New project
I also started the repair in the workshop. More precisely, for now, I'm clearing the room from everything that's there. This is the work I have to complete by autumn. The room is not heated and it will be difficult for me to dry the soil and paint in the fall. Do you know what colour the walls will be? They will be orange!
10.Trip to the city
I also went to Kiyv this week. Despite the constant shelling by russian fascists, the city lives its own life. It's just more complicated. Fortunately, I didn't come under fire, so my trip went without unnecessary adventures
