We're checking comments for being engaging with the subject of the blog.
We do check if AI has been used to generate the comment. Because we cannot tell if AI is ONLY being used to translate, that's why we skip all AI comments.

So, responding in your native language, in both languages (you don't need to hide one of them by the way) or even in 'not so good' English would make the comment eligible for an upvote from topcomment.

But do know we cannot upvote all engaging comments.
