HI, today I want to speak a little about Tinian island in the Northen Mariana Islands. It is a small island in the north of Saipan Island and about 100 some miles away from Guam (USA) the Mariana Islands belong to the USA it is also called Micronesia. It is a small island with 4000 people living there and it takes about 30 minutes ride by car to go from north to south not even 20 km. It is a place full of history during the second war world against the Japanese. The history of the place inspires a famous TV series in 1976 "Baa Baa Black Sheep" later recall the "Black Sheep Squadron". It is the place where the USA had to keep the two Atomic Bombs called "little man" who was just buried underground just in case of Japanese invade the island. The two bombs were the one dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Today there is a monument where was kept the two Bombs. It is a tropical Island with beautiful beaches and few budget hotel and a big Casino called Tinian Dynasty. It is a place where I really enjoy to chill out.
