Greetings to my wonderful people at mundohispano@mundohispano.

It's a pleasure for me to share this story about something that happened to me, which is closely related to what brujita18@brujita18 and annafenix@annafenix are discussing in this community.

I don't know how to describe what happened to me. The truth is, I'll be grateful for it for the rest of my life.

Here's the story:

Four years ago, I was going through a difficult financial situation. It's true that financial stability hasn't always been my strong suit, but that time it was worse. For the first time in years, I was going to spend Christmas without dinner or anything, because I didn't have the resources to buy anything.

During those days, I suffered a deep depression because of what was happening in my life, and stress overwhelmed me.

No matter how much my wife insisted that everything was alright, that health was the most important thing, and that we would get through this, the truth is that, as head of the household, I felt inadequate.

It's true that I had recently recovered from a serious health issue, and we had to spend our savings on essential food and medicine to save my life, but nothing could pull me out of the anguish I was in.

On December 23rd, a friend I hadn't seen in over two years came to the house. She asked me to go with her to the market to buy some beer and meat for lunch, as she planned to eat at home.

When we arrived at the market, she bought the beer and much more.

Among the things he bought was a large chicken and other food, which he gave to me for Christmas dinner.

I'm still trying to figure out how it all happened. This friend had never been to my new house, my wife didn't know her, and I hadn't told her about my illness, much less my financial situation.

When I was alone, I cried like a baby. My wife thought I had asked my friend for help, but I explained that I hadn't.

I can tell you that it was one of the most beautiful Christmases of my life, one I thoroughly enjoyed and where I truly understood the meaning of the word "friendship."

It's true that my friend's arrival at the house remains a mystery, but that doesn't change the fact that it was one of the best gifts life has given me.
