Unless we look for an inner glow
What is real in this world we may never know.
It might as well be right under our nose.
We shall cover our eyes to watch if it grows.
Whilst we've used the wrong sense to sit on the fence.
For sight not sound could muck us around.
Somehow light touch would now be too much.
It could cause some fright, even though it is slight.
It may be intense, yet still not make sense.
By now I know I surely can tell, without touch nor sight or even a smell.
Should be able to feel that this soul is real, as long as it’s not come by to steal.
All good things I hear, with nothing to fear.
Seeing I'm smart I'll speak with my heart.
I'll make an appeal to see that it's real.
Imagine the delight, of a sense without sight.
It may be unreal to think what we'd feel.
As we reach our final goal
to see nothing but the soul.
