This poem is about an ordinary lady.
She’s pretty and charming and lovely.
She’s brainy and wise and witty.
She’s also silly and friendly and funny.

She’s really good at dancing and writing,
But not so much when it comes to singing.
She’s talented and hardworking,
You name it, she’s good at almost everything.

But really she’s not your ordinary lady.
I know I said it at first, I’m sorry.
She’s not someone who’s pabebe.
She’s also not someone who’s maarte.

Let's get serious now. START!

She always say that she’ll start dieting.
But then she really really loves eating.
You’ll be surprised, she eats like a man.
When she eats, she doesn’t care about anyone.

She’s also not a pushover.
She carries her balisong everywhere.
And if you’re planning on doing something to her,
Be careful, your life is at stake there.

She may seem tough but she’s really a softie.
She easily cries when it comes to family.
She laughs even when your jokes are lame.
She goes along even if she knows your game.

You’re lucky if you have someone like her.
Treat her with respect, love and care.
It’s what her boyfriend currently does.
Because if not, then it’s his loss.

I am writing this at one thirty-eight,
I just thought that she’s a good subject.
I don’t usually stay awake at dawn,
And I’m trying hard to keep my yawn.

I’ll try to sleep after this.
I know she’ll know who the girl is.
She’ll recognize herself at once.
So I’ll try to tell her in advance.

P.S. As what I've said above, I wrote this at 1AM in the morning of November 9. I just didn't have the courage to post it. But since she is an inspiration, I decided to share this first post dedicated to her. kneelyrac@kneelyrac
