When there is no modern scalling , we used to using this tool to measure things and usually my great grandparent use it to measure the paddy weight to be sell at market.
A few years back , this stuff still being used at small paddy factory in our place because the weight measurement is too expensive and only being owned by big factory.

Now a day , when everything is getting cheaper everyone is afford to buy electric measurement for heavy duty stuff . If i ask the young generation now, they might not know those stuff if there is no kg sign on it.

This old stuff collection here might remind you at something. It was old , but the sentiment value is there.
Stuff like this remind me my grandparent , i wish they still alive because there is a lot of thing that i still want to know about their life story and continue their legacy that i can proud . Because i was living far from them , i only know some part of their story and until know when i was grow up , i realise we cant turn back the time to have what i think for granted last time. So , i learn to appreciate little thing by spending more time with my love one because only God know our time in this world.
