The first photo is my entry for Around The World Challenge 16/3 hosted by 
THE WOODEN OLD TEMPLE
The photo was taken in Chiang Mai . This is another old wooden temple that usually being seen in any temple . Its look old compare to beautiful made modern temple but some times this old temple is world more than the latest modern temple . It usually being made long time ago , some of them has being build more than thousand years. Look at the detail of the entrance , some of it still being attached with expensive gem stone like ruby , emerald and other type . Just imagine how expensive that big stone and even the statue also being made from it . Compare to gold paint of the new temple . Dont get me wrong , there was also some latest temple that being made by gold and gem stone but most of old temple use it as decoration in their temple (not all but most of the old temple) .
They say , some place has change the expensive gem stone and being put as their treasurer to protect them from the robbery . I was surprise knowing the fact how expensive the temple being made since long time ago . I believe this is not true for temple but some religion also putting a lot of treasurer from long time ago .
I wish i get in at this wooden old temple . But , they say only the highest monk can enter and still doing their ritual inside this temple.
