Psalm 28:7 - "The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him."
Some trust in their horses and Chariots
Some trust in their monies and wealth
Some trust in their supposed wisdom and intellect
Some trust in their skills and talents
Some trust in their parents and friends
But I choose to trust in the name of Lord
I choose to depend absolutely on the Creator of Heaven and Earth
The one who is and is to come
The God that never fails or lies
The Lord whose Words are ever true and there are Yes and Amen.
The Name of the Lord is a strong tower and a sure refuge. We need to learn to always trust in God no matter what the circumstances are. I have come to know personally that God is ever true and reliable. Beloved, God is ever dependable! He never fails even when we fail Him
So until we come to the knowledge of these truths, we will always find disappointments and frustration in life. When our hope is put on God, we tend to have rest and peace of mind.
Cease to put your hope and trust in man and make God your anchor today. Truth is, man will always disappoint you and most times, it's when we need them most in life. This is why we need to deliberately put our hope and trust in the One that can never fail nor disappoint.
God will always be there for you when you need Him. He says that when we call on Him, He will answer. What greater assurance can we have than this?
And now I ask you, where is your trust? On man or in God? If Man, then you are one most miserable but if on God, rejoice for your life will know peace and joy. When we put our faith in God, He will find ways to return that trust. He will guide us and protect us.
