We may most likely not find many failures documented in history, I say this is because the society never rewards failure. The most enjoyable victory is that which appeared to be the most difficult too come by.
That particular one that required you to reach deep down inside and fight with everything you had without the knowledge if at the end your heroic effort will be enough.
There are obvious exceptions. In the story of Thomas Edison whose memorable invention was the light bulb, failures became stepping stones to a later huge success.
Success is a way of life, success is an attitude. Success requires maximum effort to attain. Success is self satisfaction and it is not determined by the approval or recognition of other people.
I used to enter into many of life's milestone without giving it enough thought. But now, in every of my project, business and dream I ask this question, "What will success in this project look like?"
In demand for answers, I channeled my strategies in an itemized manner that goes thus.
Firstly, I dream big.
This is simple, whenever I have an idea, I paint a big dream in my mind of what it will be if it becomes a success. This is done through the power of imagination which furthermore leads to organized planning.
This is then accompanied by objectives, goals and tasks-because I know I have to do something; I have to take actions. Anyone who is bent on becoming great and reaching maximum potential at whatever they do will find time to define success in their own term.
Next is making a move
One’s success should be derived from the values and principles that they uphold. Also, from the observed and admired lives of others, either at present or in history.
My definition of success
Living each and every moment with full positive attitude, while loving myself, my family and the people around me. All these are achievable with discipline and consistency in whatsoever we do. Also, putting God first.
I learnt very recently that as a human being, everything we see around us is within us, and we are within everything, so first of all, we have to accept in our minds that we are success before the universe can see us as one.
That is why there is need for constant training of the mind, surrounding ourselves with people who have accepted success in themselves, through this and of course the above stated body of knowledge can we say we are successful.
