Change in thinking | Change will not happen without revolution

We live in times that are labeled by most people as democratic. There are a lot of freedoms, and some illusion of choices (the elections, the diplomatic and economic systems. But in reality, especially in economic terms, the situation is no different to the middle ages when very few people had the money and the actual power.

The choices that are given to us in subjects about public stuff are very very limited. Which political party to be in lead. We can request access to public information and theoretically find and expose some misbehaviors. The truth is, no matter which political party is elected, the economic situation stays relatively the same. Those that control the money, control those that have political power. 

But we live in XXI century. There are robots that replace the human worker. There is Software that, thanks to the data collected over the years, can become relatively smart via the algorithms marketed as Artificial Intelligence and remove the people from more and more jobs and work sectors. To try to destroy them is like the destruction of the machines during the Industrial Revolution. It will be stupid idea. The final goal of every machine is to do the actual work and make the life of the human being more and more easy. 

Until the society and the public order is in the state that is today, very very few will benefit from the technologies. These few are trying to do more and more stuff on their own, trying to make their persona a little bit more pleasant to the public. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are trying to make progress in the space sectors. This is a dream of a lot of people on Earth and they are using it as a marketing message. Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates are investing in finding cures for a lot of diseases. 

In the meantime the majority of people are working in jobs that are not producing actual goods directly - traders, cashiers,  accountants, drivers and so on.  These jobs could be replaced by machines in not so distant future. 

The bad thing is robots, automation and smart software and hardware are used mainly by corporations - by the private sector. So more and more very few individuals will benefit from the technical progression. 

There is a talk about mandatory minimal income. Until the thinking of the majority of people is changed, this will bring new problems. 

• The workers will lose motivation. Why should I work, when other people that don't work receive income? This is a problem embedded deeply in our economic and ethical systems.
• Those that does't work, should not eat. This is very old saying that is embedded in us. 
• The work is in most part - about the money, not about the work itself. Until most of the people are weak in their self control and are seduced in the chase of millions, possessions, fame or some other temporary stuff, the value system and the thinking will remain as it was in the past.     

A revolution must take place. Revolution in the thinking, revolution in the relationship with one another and the environment and so on. Those that have the power and the money will not give them up freely. The public will need to get them somehow. After this happens the public will have to embrace the new era that we live in and forget the old thinking - use the new technology for the common benefit. Of course even if some change occurs, the future always holds a possibility of repeating the past. The communism was a good idea according to some thinkers and philosophers, until the actual implementation of this utopia - the socialism, when some people were "more equal" (in other words had more money and power) than others. The Democracy was good idea, until the power of the money overruled the power of the law and the people with money started to use the weaknesses and the desires of the leaders and masses for their benefit. 

I strongly believe that it may come the time in the future when every job is automated and given to smart software and hardware and we have all the time in the world to enjoy our lives without the forces of the matrix over our heads. But in the same time I am confident that this will not happen without some sacrifice, without strong, united action. Currently most people are kept in sleep - by the old believes of the religions, the education and political systems. The possibility of positive change is trapped in some Paragraph 22 like situation. But change is inevitable. Is is only a matter of choice - what we choose today, what we going to choose in the future!
