In the old way, when one's neighbor was harmed, he had to make up for it; this was the spirit of the law, that is, the overall intention from which the proportional punishment was detached according to the crime committed.

I sense in this verse, Dear Daddy, that you bring me this message for the purpose that I may amend my mistakes about it, because when I ask forgiveness for my mistakes, I forget that I must also compensate for the damage caused; it is like repairing my fault and, as far as possible, taking care of the heart of the aggrieved.

I understand that every mistake is sin and that it is your command to ask for and grant forgiveness, but without the restitution of the harm caused forgiveness is incomplete.

Therefore, I have to be wise and understood in the application of this word that allows me to grow spiritually, for even in these times (which we live under the grace of God) the law remains in force in terms of regulating my human conduct and respect for my neighbor.

Antiguamente, cuando se hacía un daño al prójimo se tenía que resarcir; este era el espíritu de la ley, es decir, la intención global de la cual se desprendía el castigo proporcional según el crimen cometido.
Percibo en este versículo, Papaíto querido, que me traes este mensaje con el propósito de que yo enmiende mis errores al respecto, porque cuando pido perdón por mis equivocaciones, se me olvida que además debo resarcir el daño causado; es como reparar mi falta y, en la medida de lo posible, cuidar el corazón del agraviado.
Entiendo que todo error es pecado y que es un mandato tuyo pedir y otorgar el perdón, pero sin la restitución del daño causado el perdón queda incompleto.
Por lo tanto, tengo que ser sabio y entendido en la aplicación de esta palabra que me permite crecer espiritualmente, ya que aun en estos tiempos (que vivimos bajo la gracia de Dios) la ley mantiene vigencia en términos de regular mi conducta humana y el respeto a mi prójimo.
