At the end of my days
I will receive my rewards according to the promise you gave me
Genesis 47:27-28 New International Version
27 Now the Israelites settled in Egypt in the region of Goshen. They acquired property there and were fruitful and increased greatly in number.28 Jacob lived in Egypt seventeen years, and the years of his life were a hundred and forty-seven.
In these verses I perceive a different teaching in which you tell me that at the end of my days I will receive my rewards according to the promise you gave me.
I understand that nothing is alien to the life plan that you have already drawn up for me, for which I will maintain my position firmly and confidently.
In addition, everything that appears to be hindering the development of said plan will end up working in its favor.
I believe that like Israel I will be comforted in my old age by my youngest son and will die in years in his arms.
Thanks Dad.
