It is the lake in the Zagreb, capital city of Croatia. The place where people are usually going to have sport activities during the weekends.
It has small and big lake with six islands. Along the lake is the paved track with length about six kilometre.
For me it is the place for peace and bike ride, with lot of fun, on the lake they put ski lift on so you can try skiing on the water or wake boarding which i am big fan. There are two parks for street workouts and two parks with table tennis tables.
Jarun is also known for night life, because near it is Student Campus where students who are not from Zagreb lives.
The main activities for people here are running, biking, skating, on the one side you can visit softball club and try it.
It is sport simillar to baseball, i have tried but i do not have sense for it.
The fishing at Jarun is not allowed if you try it you will be given a fee to pay especially if you don't have permission.
