My plants change in different ways every day. I can't even remember how many times I've killed plants I didn't ask for—ones that just showed up in my pots. I've also noticed some mold in a few of the pots, and I have no idea how to get rid of it; they're white spots that really gross me out, to be honest. But recently, it occurred to me to toss an onion into one of my pots and see what would happen. I didn’t plant it—I just left it there—and I was amazed when, as the days went by, the onion started sprouting nonstop.
Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the entire growing process because I had no idea if it was going to work—as I mentioned, I didn't plant it, and I was very skeptical that anything would grow that way—but anyway, the photos I do have are recent, and I feel like every time I look out the window, my chives look a little longer.
On top of that, I killed some more plants in another pot—that pot had gotten overrun with thousands of unwanted plants, so I finally pulled them out to plant some grape seeds and see what grows. Obviously, I don’t think a grapevine will grow, but sometimes random things pop up, hahaha. I feel like having plants or planting them is like playing a game to see which Pokémon you’ll get.
At the end of the day, the only ones who haven't changed or let me down are my cacti.
