For information, at the 2018 MotoGP event, the riders will compete in 19 series of races or more 1 grand prix than last season.
Consequently, the number of tests conducted in the middle of the season will also get a reduction.
"We will now undergo two more pre-season tests then a long season with 19 races," said Marc Marquez quoted by BolaSport.com from Speedweek.
The longer championship season is not a problem for the Spanish rider.
"It seems this is the future, more races but fewer tests, I like that," Marquez said.
"But one thing is clear the jed will be very close."
Even so, there will be a reduction in the duration of some series of races to match the number of replacement engines and predefined fuels.
2018 MotoGP season will open in mid-March and last until November 2018.
