Yellowstone National Park’s Midway Geyser Basin—so called for its location between the Upper and Lower Geyser Basins—is where visitors can find two of the park’s most iconic sites. Both Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser are found in this section of Yellowstone, drawing thousands annually to the area formerly known as Hell’s Half Acre.
