MY STORY
I have been a victim of Innocence and Assumptions. I have on several occasions being at the other end of the line; the receiving end.
I have been that little boy that abides by ALL rules, that little boy that believes 1+1 will always be equal to 2 and -1+1 is not possible as both cases involve the number 1.
I have learnt in the hardest of ways how devastating it is to assume that people are meant to be "good", how they shouldn't take "revenge" because the scriptures taught us so. I have learnt how heart-wrecking it is to assume the other person is a Christian just by observing from a distance or because you both go to church. I have learnt how heart breaking it is to assume people's actions or try to justify their actions from my lens.
The reality is; no matter how much we assume that the ideal should be upheld over the real, it is never the case until otherwise proven by the parties involved in a split second or by intensive board meetings....馃榾馃榾馃榾. Don't you ever assume people's actions for what you think they should be but relate with them from the facts you've been able to gather about them from them.
OK.........now, are you assuming I am INNOCENT?...... smiles, you know what to do.
Let me end this piece with this quote: "Don't you ever assume you're FAMILY to someone who doesn't even see you as a FRIEND"
