Sadly, a major windstorm came through here a couple of days ago and broke off most of the plants in our garden. We didn't plant any root vegetables this year. We do have some sweet red italian peppers still growing and some melons. Our jalepeno plant suddenly died a couple of weeks ago, but not before I froze around 40 jalepenos to use later for pico de gallo.
