We have been documenting how people have been adopting to a new normal.

Fortunately where I am living the situation has been getting better every week and people have been allowed to get back together again: shops have long opened, people can go to parks and hang out, and even fitness centers as well as swimming pools are open again. However, the social distancing rule of 1,5m is still officially required. Yet people are not always sticking to this rule. In fact, it is rather evident that people have grown somewhat tired of social distancing rules:

We can see groups of people very close to one another and also on markets or other public places these distances are not followed very closely.

The last months have been tough on everyone (yet more so on some than others, e.g., low income groups, minority groups or self-employed people have had a much more difficult time) and there are obvious marks of what the corona pandemic has done to the city and it's citizens. Some shops had to close...

...while others are trying to keep afloat by offering large discounts...

And of course there are the constant reminders of social distancing...

...but already they are fading... and people and even police are not taking the rules always so seriously. For the mask this often means to wear it only on the mouth as this still enables to breathe normally through the nose:

There are also a lot of very paradoxical settings: for example here people on the left side are not required to wear a mask, but on the right side they have to as this place belongs to the market where masks are mandatory. I wonder if the virus adheres to these virtual boundaries...
