This is an oil painting on paper I painted in spring when i got overwhelmed at the beauty of the magnolia buds. Bursting with life and energy it is hard not to be moved by the whole atmosphere that such a spring day brings. Especially now in winter it can be a blessing to be able to recall these kinds of memories when it is cold and rather rainy outside (not that this weather has a beauty of its own).
