At this point it is not a question of if we will have 1$ Hive, but when it will be here
The way things are going right now it could be only a matter of weeks actually... I am not quite sure why we had this big of an increase today (even Steem had "only" a 20%+ movement), but normally it is connected with a news event. Did I miss something?
Or it could also be that many whales are realizing the amazing potential of Hive (over Steem): Microblooging is coming soon from the 
Maybe people are starting to realize that we already have everything here on Hive and that our blockchain is ready to take off like a rocket :)
From a TA perspective this is not too unexpected. I mentioned this possbile scenario over 2 months ago in an admittedly confusing chart. I'll post it here again:
Let me expplain: In the top right you see Hive's fractal. This pattern can be identified on every scale- although I should mention that this is the "bear" fractal. The "bull" fractal doesn't correct to a newer low. This is what happened in January when Hive "broke out" of its fractal (i.e. it changed to the bull pattern):
The first chart shows the movement of the first wave of Hive. It was a short big burst to 1$ before it crashed back to 10 cents. This first wave could be seen as the first wave within the larger fractal. As you can see there, a much larger wave is coming after that. This is what I tried to portray in the first chart with the line shooting upwards after 2021. In retrospect this is actually lining up perfectly with the current chart (although it felt strange drawing such a steep increase into the chart at first):
That is one steep curve! And the volume is amazing as well. From a TA standpoint, the reason that we are seein g a 50%+ movement today is because there are simply no real resistances, at least from a trend line perspective. Obviously it won't be one green line going to 1$ from here, 10-20% corrections will be a long the way. One possible place is a correction back to 30 cents; but to be honest this is guesswork. 1$ Hive is coming up fast and with the limited data we have for Hive's movement (1 year since the hard fork) it is very hard to predict the future movement. While we can use Steem as a proxy, Hive clearly has a different fractal and it is therefore hard to predict future price targets.
But with the development ongoing, I think 10$ is definitely on the table! :)
