I think you have to be a special kind of person to be a bouncer.
Physical attributes are important: strong, big, muscly... even if it's not all muscles, there has to be some weight and mass so you are being taken seriously. On a mental level, one probably wouldn't get very far if one would be too soft and have too much empathy for people... in fact, a bouncer (at least on his job) should probably be very dull to not get caught up in unimportant conversations...
