How have you all been?

This HIVE OPENMIC week 149 and I remain your very own ,@tobbysax. Its been a while I was here and I am infact,pretty much elated to be here and to be a part of this week's task. A quick shout out first to spotlight artiste of the week @jessicaossom for her beautiful entry and the amazing theme she had given us to work with i.e **"THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD"...and then to every one who has encouraged me in every way they could to keep me going...I say a big thank you. My journey on hive wouldn't have had much meaning without you all.

Today , I'm going to be presenting a song of one of my young favourite artiste, BENSON BOONE titled "GHOST TOWN". It is the most recent of his songs. It had really nice melody and lyrics composition so I thought to give it a try .

The lyrics of the song portrays heartbreak and disappointment but also depicts its victim trying to stay strong and move on but can't erase the memories of love created .

I'll be singing even if I still haven't recovered my voice fully. I hope you enjoy this piece as you listen .

Esta semana 149 de HIVE OPENMIC y sigo siendo tuyo, @tobbysax. Ha pasado un tiempo que estuve aquí y, de hecho, estoy bastante eufórico de estar aquí y de ser parte de la tarea de esta semana. Un saludo rápido a todos los que me han animado de todas las formas posibles para que siga adelante... les doy las gracias. Mi viaje a la colmena no habría tenido mucho significado sin todos ustedes.

Hoy, voy a presentar una canción de uno de mis jóvenes artistas favoritos, BENSON BOONE, titulada "GHOST TOWN". Es la más reciente de sus canciones. Tenía una melodía y una composición de letras realmente agradables, así que pensé en intentarlo.

La letra de la canción retrata la angustia y la decepción, pero también muestra a su víctima tratando de mantenerse fuerte y seguir adelante, pero no puede borrar los recuerdos del amor creado.

Estaré cantando aunque todavía no haya recuperado mi voz por completo. Espero que disfrutes esta pieza mientras la escuchas.
