Buenas tardes!! Apreciada comunidad, hoy les mostraré el trabajo que hacemos con arcilla, extraida de la montaña, donde mi esposo tiene el taller de alfarería artesanal y utilitaria.
Allí yacen unas tierras arcillosas que pertenecían a sus abuelos maternos y por herencia se han usado para hacer trabajos artesanales, en arcilla, roja y gris, se fabricó un torno y un horno artesanales.
Paso#1
Extrayendo la arcilla gris que se encuentra en la montaña, cerca al manantial.
Paso #2
Se procede amasar la arcilla, hasta alcanzar una masa homogénea. Es de hacer notar que se extrae húmeda, así que se necesita muy poca agua.

Después de amasar la arcilla se procedió a pesar un kilogramo para realizar la pieza (maceta artesanal).
Paso #3
Luego se coloca la arcilla en el torno manual y se procede a elaborar la pieza deseada, dando vueltas continuas y trabajando la pieza poco a poco con mucho cuidado.
Nuestra niña le encanta subirse en el torno para dar vueltas...
Se debe tomar con mucha precisión y con las dos manos dando forma poco a poco, y manejando con la pierna el torno, ya que es un torno de patatas, fabricado por mi esposo, todo es artesanal, desde la extracción de la arcilla hasta la cocción de la pieza.
Paso #4
Después de terminar la pieza va al horno artesanal, ya está cargado con leña.
La pieza se cuece a temperatura a 1200grados, con temperatura de vitrificacion, en el horno artesanal que funciona a leña, por aproximadamente 8 horas continúas, hasta que alcance la temperatura.
Paso#5
Esperar 24 horas, al día siguiente se extraen las piezas y listo, estas piezas quedan vitrificadas y con sonido campana.

It must be taken with great precision and with both hands giving shape little by little, and handling with the leg the lathe, since it is a potato lathe, made by my husband, everything is handmade, from the extraction of the clay to the firing of the piece.
Step #4
After finishing the piece, it goes to the artisan oven, already loaded with firewood.
The piece is baked at a temperature of 1200 degrees, with vitrification temperature, in the artisan oven that works with firewood, for approximately 8 continuous hours, until it reaches the temperature.
Step#5
Wait 24 hours, the next day the pieces are removed and ready, these pieces are vitrified and with bell sound.
