Nunca olvidaré a mi papá.

ENGLISH
Suffering is defined with several connotations, paraphrasing a little: one of these definitions, suffering is an intense pain that is carried in the soul, which causes sadness and can lead to depression.
I think that all human beings have suffered some pain, for some adverse or painful circumstance throughout life on this earth, because since the creation of the world, God said to man: with the sweat of your brow you will eat bread and to the woman with pain you will give birth. But, if we review this principle, everything is summarized in blessing, the work although sometimes makes us live hard circumstances, brings blessing and childbirth brings with it the satisfaction of seeing your children and fulfill the role of being a mother, although it is true that childbirth is painful, but when you see your child you forget the pain you have suffered, just as when you get the fruit of your hard work also brings joy to the heart.
But there are other much more painful moments that make us suffer, such as some irreversible disease, and more when there is only the pain and suffering of seeing your loved one fade away, bedridden, going little by little, that happened to my father, I took care of him for almost a year, he was in bed and suffered the fact of not being able to get up and work, because he was always a very active person. He would talk to me and tell me to read him his favorite stories from the bible, pray with him and sing, so his soul would rest for moments and he would fall asleep, while I took care of him and put him on oxygen, he only tolerated liquids, so I fed him with an injector, and also doing his grooming and washing in bed. And all the care he needed while he was alive, when he was going to leave I knew it, he looked at me fixedly, but he no longer spoke, he suffered in silence, there was nothing to do, when he spoke he told me: I am very tired and I answered him: what about dad? If you are in bed and he answered me to live.
We both suffered, he for his agony, and I for seeing him in that condition, his departure was very painful for me. But what always sustained us was the faith that he fulfilled his purpose and I fulfilled mine, by accompanying him and being able to take care of him until his last breath. Now I only have the good times I had, the anecdotes he used to tell me and his jokes. We were accomplices, especially at mealtimes, we made tremendous things, and I only did it to give him a moment of joy in his suffering. I will never forget my dad. Although I no longer suffer because I am sure he is no longer suffering and is in a better place.
I can only say: I love you dad: "to infinity and beyond". And I hope that soon I will see you in another life! With a glorified body, where there will be no pain or suffering.
