In this bad moment of lockdown we are all locked up in house. Our houses have become prisons, cages, and we are inside and we cannot go out. Like when we fill the zoo of wild animals or we buy in the animals shops parrots, canaries, squirrels, tropycal fish, snakes or spiders, and more in stores. Bought as if they were things to make them live in captivity.
They are creatures like us, who need of their nature habitat and to be FREE.
In questo brutto momento di blocco siamo tutti rinchiusi in casa. Le nostre case sono diventate prigioni, gabbie, e noi siamo dentro non possiamo uscire, come quando riempiamo lo zoo di animali selvatici o compriamo nei negozi di animali pappagalli, canarini, scoiattoli, pesci tropicali, animali selvatici come serpenti o ragni, e altro, comprati come se fossero cose per farli vivere in cattività.
Sono creature come noi, che hanno bisogno del loro habitat naturale ed essere LIBERE.
That’s what the virus is doing with us, maybe it’s a signal!!! We hope to learn from this experience!!! We are living a surreal moment, empty cities, shops, restaurants, bar, pub all closed. A great silence, specially at night, it makes a impression!!!
We have fear to meet, to embrace each other, to kiss each other. We artists are used to isolation specially when we work, we have need for to focus on the job, but when the isolation is imposed by someone it becomes almost unbearable.
In fact we are doing a great sacrifice for the good of ourselves and loved ones. We can talk with friends and relatives only via skipe or video calls, our days are long, we cook a lot, we read, we watch movie but we are always inside these four walls.
I don’t know how long it will last, but even if the situation in Italy is improving the time to return to normal it wiil be very long.

E’ quello che sta facendo il virus con noi, forse è un segno!!! Speriamo di imparare da questa esperienza!!! Stiamo vivendo in un clima surreale, città vuote, negozi, ristoranti, bar, pub tutto chiuso. Un gran silenzio, sopratutto di notte, fa impressione!!!
Abbiamo paura di incontrarci, di abbracciarci, di baciarci. Noi artisti siamo abituati all’isolamento sopratutto quando lavoriamo, ne abbiamo bisogno per concentrarci sul lavoro, ma quando l’isolamento è imposto da qualcuno diventa quasi insopportabile. Infatti stiamo facendo un grande sacrificio per il bene di noi stessi e dei nostri cari.
Possiamo parlare con amici e parenti solo tramite skipe o videotelefonate, le nostre giornate sono lunghe, cuciniamo molto, leggiamo, guardiamo film ma sempre dentro queste quattro mura.
Possiamo solo uscire per fare la spesa o per andare in farmacia, o per andare in ospedale, o morti.
Non so fino a quando durerà, ma anche se la situazione del contagio in Italia è in miglioramento i tempi per tornare alla normalità saranno molto lunghi.
