SMARTHOMM HOTEL
My travel destination at that time was a very iconic theme park in Jakarta; DUFAN which is located in Ancol District, North Jakarta. When I surfed an online booking application called Traveloka, I found Smarthomm Hotel. The location of the hotel to the tourist destination is only about one kilometer. Very strategic considering that not far from the hotel there are also two malls if we want to go shopping. In addition, access to this hotel is very easy because it is right on the edge of the main highway. Vehicle access is almost 24 hours available.
Room types available at SmartHomm include: Standard Doubel Room, Deluxe Twin Room, Deluxe Double, Family Double Room, and Family Twin.
Since I was only alone with my friend, Moy, I booked the Standard Double Room type for 245,000 rupiah. Very affordable, right? Moreover, at that time I got a discount of around 30 percent. How lucky I was.
LOBBY
From the parking area or courtyard, there is an outside staircase leading to the lobby. It's a single lobby with the only ornament being a golden-colored ornate lamp. As with most hotels, there was a long desk or front officer counter for check in, check out, etc. There are also four chairs with red backs, and two glass tables.
For the front officer counter, it is designed with a stone pattern on the front. As for the wallpaper, it is a combination of wood and dark green colors. The front officer's pad lights match those on the outside stairs.
On this first floor, there are no rooms. There is only an office and an elevator connected by a short staircase. All the walls of the hallway in this elevator are wood brown.
STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM
After completing the admittance, I was given the key to my room on the third floor.
Upon entering the room, there was a bathroom on the left side. The bathroom was quite spacious, with a toilet closest to the door. Then a washbasin and a mirror, then in the slightly deep part, a sower equipped with warm water.
In front of the bathroom was a tall mirror the size of my body, which was very helpful for me to check if I was dressed up well enough. Haha
As the name implies, the bed provided is double type. It was comfortable enough for two people. On the left and right side of the bed, there is a nightstand, and a pair of reading lamps that work well. On the left nightstand there is a light switch as well as a power outlet for charging. There is also an internal telephone.
On the right side, there is a long table facing the window, as well as a white chair that is perfect for relaxing. A cupboard is placed right next to the long table. Everything was very neat and minimalist. I really do not regret even I want to recommend this inn if there are friends who ask.
There are two bottles of mineral water complete with a glass being, also two coffee sachets with cream. And an electric kettle. For toiletries, there are two towels, a pair of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap that doubles as shampoo.
The ornaments in this room looked very warm and elegant. A mix of blue color on the bed with all-white sheets and pillowcases gives a sense of vibrancy. Also, the wallpaper on the top of the bed is a muted brown with a bubble pattern.
