It's been a while since I've hung out or just bought coffee at a coffee shop around the house, but there's a new coffee brand. My friend told me to try the new coffee. At first, I was hesitant, because it had been a long time since I bought coffee with milk, but I was also curious. As always, curiosity sometimes trumps all.
TOMORO COFFEE
Still reluctant to leave the house, I decided to order Tomoro coffee online, which is located not far from my house. Less than a kilometer away. When I checked online ordering, it just so happened that there was a two-cup bundle promo for Rp 30000 regular size. Quite affordable, isn't it?
About 30 minutes later, my order arrived. I was finally able to enjoy two cups of coffee with two different flavors: Oat Latte Iced and Aren Latte Iced. The cups were standard coffee cups, without straws. What I found new was that there was a paper lid on the inside of the lid. Usually, this is not used. It's probably to keep the coffee from spilling and to make it safer.
OAT LATTE ICED
In almost all contemporary coffee shops, this oat latte menu is always there. And this is also not the first time, I drink latte coffee with a savory oat milk flavor. However, for Tomoro Coffee, I felt the savory taste of oats was very thin and even only at the beginning of my sip. The rest of the time, it just tasted sweet. Even the coffee was not so pronounced. I'm guessing, maybe this is because of the promo price?
Have you guys also encountered the oddity like I did, when food or drinks with promo prices have deliberately downgraded flavors? But, for Tomoro coffee, that's just my assumption. Because I haven't tried it with normal price. Maybe next time I should try it for comparison.
ICED AREN LATTE
The taste of aren latte from tomoro coffee is nothing special, it has a taste that is identical to other shops in general. But, I was really curious as to why the coffee wasn't too pronounced? Very mild, almost like the packaged coffee I usually buy at franchises. Actually, I didn't complain too much about this, because obviously the flavor is worth the price. With Rp 15000/cup it is already relatively cheap.
OTHER MENU
In addition to the two above, apparently Tomoro Coffe has quite a lot of other menus which are divided into several categories, such as
Espresso & Brewed Coffee: Local Coffee, Caffe Americano, Breve Latte, Latte Bombon, Espresso, Flat White, Caffe Latte, Capuccino, Caffe Mocha, Caramel Macchiato, Lavocado, and Pandan Caffe Latte.
Frappe: Putu Ayu Coffee Frappe, Coffee Frappe, Caffe Mocha Frappe, Kopi Lokal Frappe, Avocado Coffe Frappe, Pandan Coffee Frappe
Non-Coffee Frappe: Matcha Frappe, Chocolate Frappe
Non-Coffee: Chocolate and Matcha Latte
Food & Bakery: Butter Croissant, Chocholate Danis, Cinnamon Roll, Beef Sausage Puff, and Chicken Herb Puff.
Looking at the number of menus provided, I realized after searching, it turns out that Tomoro Coffee is a franchised coffee shop that has fifty branches or more.
