During the Easter holiday I visited Central Italy and Southern Italy. I went to Abruzzo for three days,
Lanciano
and to Matera for two days. This year, Matera is the European Capital of Culture.

Obviously I have tried some different restaurant....

... and the best restaurant of this holiday is Bruschetteria Marfisi in Lanciano, Abruzzo.
As you can guess from the name, here you can eat bruschette:
Basically: bread, oil, mozzarella, rucola, tomatoes.
But you this place is famous also for Arrosticini
Soooo good
I recommend to you to visit Italy, but not for few days. You need time to live the life of this places.
Lanciano, Sulmona, Matera... Maybe the are not famous as Venice or Rome. They are different.
