There is a hidden layer behind making a false impression. When you look closely, before you believe, people are not always what they seem to be. Some people are kind in public, but they are cruel in private.
They are the next thing to the devil when the light is off. They are confident on the outside but, deeply, they are iconic introverts. There are so many people like this all in our world, with different character that we don't even know.
First impressions are fast and they are convenient. People can easily sum it up and get what you are standing for. But that is not the truth.
There are so many first impressions that are meant for survival purpose, for social acceptance and to preserve one's image. That is why it is possible to feel drawn to someone's charm, style and confidence. Then you will later realize that all those ones does not even coincide with your own character and they are not even true.
There are so many people that ask themselves, why do we even misread people? There are so many reasons for it. The first thing is that what we want to see is what we get. So it is nobody's fault.
You want to see a kind person, the person smiles at you, then you think the person is kind. That is not really true. Many people also wear masks when they are meeting others.
So they have a heavy makeup, a charming face and all that. And it protects them. Since that is what you want to see, that is also what you get.
There are so many red flags that are hidden at first sight. Though it is not everything that you see that is fake. Some people are actually real, both in and out.
But so many people show their hurts and their scars in private. They keep the public to see their very beautiful face. Some cannot, some will never.
To look carefully is very important. It means you have to watch patterns, not just moments. Anyone can be nice to you.
But consistent, nice, can be counted as the real one. Then actions and words have to be compared. If anyone is saying that you can trust me but their behavior is secretive and inconsistent.
Believe the behavior instead of the words. Then the last thing is to always take your time. Don't be in a hurry to reach a conclusion about a person.
And you have to make sure that you protect your heart at all costs. It has been said over and over again that people are not always what they seem to be. So you don't trust easily or faster.
You have to be very skillful in selecting who you should trust and who you should withdraw yourself from. Your standard must be very high if you really want to find a solution to this. Being kind and naive, hopeful, but never be blind to see everything in a clear way.
That is the only way you can actually win this battlebattle.
