Am I an exclusive portrait painter ? Well... once in a while, I try myself on landscape or animal drawing, as this one here. Pencils and acrylic.
This post is to dedicated to @Amavi for she loves so much all the animals sharing this planet with us.
Amavi, in French, would be written like this : A ma vie ! Means "To my life" ! So, let's raise a toast to @Amavi and to her life full of love for those who deserve all our respect : Animals. THANK YOU @AMAVI for ALL your magnificent posts you offer us !
The story of this painting : On April 2004, my heart stopped beating twice, disturbed by a virus caught when travelling. A cardiologist saved me twice and if I'm still here, it is thankful to him. So, I drew this as a gift to show my gratitude. He is born in Africa, that's why, I chose rhinoceros. In an other hand, I love those so ancient animals.
And this little cat... Pencils and aquarelle.
I offered it to my husband years ago and he sold it ! sigh... Fortunately, I have kept a picture of it. Well, I guess the buyer deserves it, so, everything is alright !
