On Friday it was my son's birthday and Thursday when we made Aaron's cupcakes we also made DJ's cake we just made a nice blue cake with some nice sweets on it.
We made a vanilla pan cake. Here are the ingredients we used for the vanilla cake.馃槉
- 500grams of sugar
- 6 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 350ml of water
- 200ml of oil
- 500grams of cake flower
Pinch of salt
Mix the sugar, eggs and vanilla together for about 10 minutes, add the water and oil and mix quickly.
Add the cake flower and salt and mix well.
In a oven pan spray it with spray and cook add the mixture into the pan, bake for 40 minutes on 180 degrease.
Now with the icing sugar we used
50g butter
3 cups of icing sugar
25ml of milk
10ml of food coloring
With the icing sugar we mixed everything together and it was done. We put it in a bucket, we decided to make the cake nicely in the evening when my son went to sleep.
Now after 40 the cake came out of the oven, for lucky it was done because the power went of again with power cuts.....
Who says we cant have some fun on a cake with sweets?
I remember when we were little how we had fun with sweets on our cakes when we had a birthday. 馃槉馃槉
We used Jelly tots
And some nice Smarties with chocolate in.馃構
And my sons favorite are little eggies with chocolate. 馃榾
When my son was in dreamland we decorate the cake.
We started with the icing sugar. Spread it onto the cake.
I add some blue and white vermicelli all over the cake馃槉
Now i started with the Jelly tots. I had enough Jelly tots for his name.
Next i used the smarties to say IS
And lastly his age. 5 Years old.
I cant believe he's 5 already, Time flies so fast.
Well I put 5 candals on but no he wanted 6 haha but yeah his 5 years old.
