I am beautiful and ugly
merciful but ruthless
I love and nurture
Discipline and guide
disrespected while taken for granted
expected to take care of everyone else
including myself
while keeping this place flowing
I’m exhausted and frustrated
no time to rest
no time to relax
yet I keep going and growing
Teaching and showing
with nothing less
of what you express
You never notice I’m there
But if I were disappear
You would be in great despair
I am your Mother Nature
