I was in the Shopping Mall "BUENAVENTURA" Miranda State/Venezuela.

I went alone to buy a gift for my granddaughter who has a birthday coming soon, I went all over the Mall (which is quite big) and I couldn't find what I was looking for. I went into a bakery famous for its sweets and ordered two Brownies to go.

My granddaughter is going to be 3 years old and she loves to watch cartoons every afternoon on her tablet or on TV, so I decided to buy her a puff (it is a big cushion, it comes in several colors of canvas fabric and with double stitching, it is resistant and very versatile, you can use it to lie down, to sit or just to rest your feet). I feel it is very useful for the little girl, as it is very light so she can move it anywhere in the house to enjoy her cartoons.

I went up to the 2nd floor of the mall and finally found a store where they sell them with a variety of models and colors!

I went in, the attention was very good, I started to ask about each one, the quality and the prices, they were between 30$ and 80$ and they were really cute! While the salesman was answering all my questions, I was watching a boy of about 2 years old jumping from one puff to another without any control.
Suddenly he came over and laid down on the puff I was about to buy and started to convulse, I noticed it immediately as I worked in my active years with children with R.M. (Mental Retardation) and many of them convulsed (I knew exactly what to do).

I immediately laid him on the floor to give him first aid, I placed him on his side loosening the belt of his pants while I held him. The mother ran, approached him and began to scream, I asked her to calm down and ordered to remove the people who were crowded around to let enough air in until the child reacted, it was only a few minutes, but with a lot of tension.

Everything happened very quickly and the mother, after thanking me for what I did for her son, clarified that it was all her fault for not giving him the medicine at the right time, since he was walking around the shopping mall, it was time to give him the medicine and he did not have it with him.

Given the circumstances I asked her where she lived and if she had a car, she replied that she did not have a car and lived a little far away. I had no choice but to take them home in my vehicle and leave the purchase of the puff for another day. Much more important is the health of that child. The gift can wait... I felt very good to do something good with God's help today.

I went home, after a good shower and a short rest I took out my sweets and prepared a nice black coffee, I didn't want to make it with milk since the brownie is quite sweet and I didn't want to get cloying... the truth is that my coffee was very good and while I enjoyed it sitting on my couch, I remembered the things that one can live daily when going out on the street!
