Most of the AfD's new votes came from the CDU, the so-called "center right," which has been following a much more right-wing rhetoric since 2025. You can see it clear in the graph, exactly when most AfD voters switched over. It's the same year as the Bundestagswahl, and the same time our Chancellor started talking bad about immigrants and pushing cuts to healthcare and social funds. He himself has proposed real cuts to the federal subsidy for health insurance and to support for disabled people and children, not just talk.

I would not say all AfD voters are Nazis. But they vote for the racist party anyway, and that makes them not so different from the people who once helped the NSDAP get into parliament almost 100 years ago.
